Domain security check

Grade the email, DNS and website security of any domain from public records. Every finding shows what we saw and how to fix it.

We read public DNS records and load the home page once over HTTPS and once over HTTP. Nothing is scanned. Results are kept for ten minutes so repeat checks are fast, then discarded.

Whether others can send email as this domain, and whether mail to it is encrypted.

DNS

Whether answers about this domain can be forged or misused.

Website

How the website protects visitors in the browser.

If a lookup cannot be completed we mark that check as not checked and give no grade. We never report something as passing because we could not see it.
